How was your freshman year?

My freshman year was a lot better then my 8th grade year thats for sure. The teachers were all cool for the most part, but they were like normal teachers if they were having a bad day you could tell. As a freshman the upper class people if you knew them they'd make you do everything since you are an underclassmen. I was happy to know that there wasn't really a freshman Friday. It was a pretty fun year from the power going out which caused a lot of chaos to the food fight at lunch which got people arrested. I made many new friends this year which could be long term. Hence, this year was one of a kind and I had a great time.

About the book "Animal Farm"

Animal Farm was an okay book it just was a bit odd to me. It just depends on what type of book you like. If you like fictional books about animals taking over a farm, then you would most likely like this book. The ending wasn't very good though. They could of explained the ending a bit better then they did. If you want a summery of the book here it is. It started with an animal owner abusing his animal. Then, one of the elder animals makes a plan to rebel. Then they successfully pull off a rebellion. Then the animals have to live on the farm without any owner. The owner tried to come back, but the animals drove him back off the farm and he moved away. Then the pigs start leading the farm. One of the pigs named Napolean took over and made it practically a communist farm. They had 7 commandments eventually it went to one commandment. Ten i could say how the rest went, but i will just let you read it and find out.

Should animals be kept in captivity?

Many animals are abused by their owner daily. The animals in the book Animal Farm get treated really bad by their owner and want to make a rebellion. Everyday every 5 seconds an animals is being abused by a bad owner, but there are also good owners who take care of their animals like they are their kid. That is the type of leader people like me want to see. The majority of animals such as reptiles and amphibians that have to be kept in one of the small plastic containers don't like life. If your animal can run in the habitat or if it's 3-5 times its size depending on what type of animal it is its the good size. If you live on a farm like the the animals off the book Animal Farm your animals should have room to run. Also, if you get a new pet don't mess with it for the first few days so it can get used to its new habitat. It's a law that you can't abuse your animals and if you do you will have to go to jail for a long time. In conclusion, treat you animals with respect, feed them what they need, give them a good habitat, watch them see if they are doing good, and if you can't follow all of these I wouldn't recommend getting an animal.

The process of a leaders who lose their power.

There has been many leaders who've lost power while in rule. If leaders do bad stuff such as have affairs, do drugs, and get arrested for other things, and it gets public, there is a chance of the leader losing his or her power. Once a leader loses his or her power they often either just go unknown and nobody cares about them anymore. Also, back in the medieval days to some countries present day, such as Iraq and many African tribes they execute their leader. In america for example we impeach the leader. In conclusion, ever country has a way to get their leader out of office.

The giant panda is on the verge of being extinct such as many other animals. Some people think the main reasons of animals being extinct is natural disasters, but the biggest reason is because of us people.

All people have different opinions in how animals go extinct. Some people such as Al Gore think the reason animals go extinct is because of global warming but that’s proven to be a myth. Other animals can’t find food, which makes since but isn’t the biggest reason. Also, because they get attacked by predators. For example, a Gazelle's predator is a lion, a swordfish's predator is a great white shark, and finally a frogs predator is a snake. Another reason animals go extinct is because of natural disasters. Many natural disasters including volcanoes, hurricanes, sunamis, tornadoes, floods, blizzards, avalanches, earthquakes, and even lightning strikes kill off many animals.

People are the main cause that most animals go extinct. When people started building houses they destroyed many animal habitats. Also, when the hunters and gathers started they began to kill the wildlife such as buffalo. They killed about ¾ of all the buffalo population, but now it's not as bad because, the buffalo came back. When people made houses they cut down trees which animals lived in. They pollute the air and water with the huge factories that were made. Also, people killed animals for sport, such as hunting and fishing. There are many ways that people kill animals including the ones above.

In conclusion, many types of animals go extinct and there are many reasons that it happened, but the main reason is people. Today there are 3.5 billion extinct creatures right now and it may go up if we don't change our ways.

How did Hitler co-exist with his followers?

Hitler started his life in Austria. Then he moved to Germany and became a messenger for their military. Eventually he made the Nazi party. He got along with his people very well from all the speeches he made. When he was Germanys leader he started to make bad decisions and started taking over other countries. The people started to get mad and then when the war started he turned from kinda bad to evil. Eventually, he blammed all of th problems on the jews. Then, he put all the jews in concentration camps. I don't think he co-existed well with his people. in the beginning the people liked him but then he went bad and people started to hate him. In conclusion, I think he started well then went to bad in the co-existance with his people.

Why is there a big fight about it being legal to burn leaves?

Burning leaves has been a problem for a while in many cities and states. It has recently been banned in my city of Moline. It is known that burning leaves pollutes in the environment. Many people thinks its an easy way to get rid of the leaves. I think it does hurt the environment and

the smoke makes a smell that not many people like. There are other things you can do besides burning the leaves you can compost, bury them, or even put them in a forrest of some sort and let them decompose. So far many places are changing there mind about burning leaves and are making it illegal. I hope eventually the problem will spread nationally and have it illegal for the whole country. I am a naturalistic person i like nature and i think that burning leaves doesn't help anything. It only makes matters worse and it in my opinion is a way of being lazy. In conclusion, I don't think burning leaves is a good thing and yes it is a big controversy in the area. Thanks for reading my post.
