There has been many leaders who've lost power while in rule. If leaders do bad stuff such as have affairs, do drugs, and get arrested for other things, and it gets public, there is a chance of the leader losing his or her power. Once a leader loses his or her power they often either just go unknown and nobody cares about them anymore. Also, back in the medieval days to some countries present day, such as Iraq and many African tribes they execute their leader. In america for example we impeach the leader.
